Thank you!! No way to fire it, the only way to finish a piece in monster clay is to make molds of it.

Great as usual! Just wondering what kind of solvent do you use to smooth Monster clay?
Reply
:iconantwatkins:
AntWatkins Featured By Owner Jan 30, 2012
Thanks! I like to use a 50/50 mix of isopropyl myristate and 99% alchohol, that works very well. But it must be used sparingly.

Just one thing though. You had a choice between filing this under "abstract" or "figurative" and you chose abstract??

May I ask, how do you put the little quote in at the bottom of your comments? Like where yours says "My Art Website-link"?? Do you do it on your profile page?

i see you are doing great things with sculptures and especially dragons why dont you pick some ideas from Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim ? it has great source of dragon imagination :)

Actually I just started playing Skyrim. I like to work on my own designs for the most part, but of course pick up inspiration from wherever I can :) Games like Skyrim (and I LOVED God of War, III in particular) are a big inspiration just to watch, let alone play

good work truly great, by the way is Monster clay any good for sculpting, or should I stick to using Chavant clay?
Reply
:iconantwatkins:

Thanks. I must say, I prefer Monster Clay over chavant at this point. I still use chavant, but I love the feel of monster clay so much more...I always highly recommend it.

These are pretty fucking awesome. you need to pitch them to movie companies or something. what do you do with all these sculptures? xD how do they not take up a ton of space?
kind of a random question.

Thank you. Many are just sketches of characters, but there some that I will most likely mold and make casts in the near future. They kind of steck up in my little studiop, but there is always room for more :)
