Have you tried casting from a Monster clay sculpture before? Just wondering how difficult it would be compared to casting from polymer clay.

I love sculpting in monster clay, and casting it is fine as well. One of the differences is, with sculpey it is easier to build up the clay for the mold box, since sculpey is baked hard you can just push it right into the clay and then clean up the mold line very quickly. With the Monster Clay, just like all other oil clays in molding, you have to be very careful when building up the clay around it, so you don't hurt the details in getting the mold box ready.
