Under the Sea creature WIP by AntWatkins Under the Sea creature WIP by AntWatkins
WIP!
Roughing out a concept that I had for a deep sea dragon. I will finish this out and most likely cast it in the end.

I hope you all don't mind seeing these WIP's...I have many people tell me that they enjoy checking out progress pics, so I will put them up at certain times...hope you like!!

Would you mind me using some of your creatures on book covers i design for a friend? Your name would be in the book for the use of your image here on deviantart. Usually they aren't the main focus, but they are certainly cool. I will not use it without your approval though. Awesome work. Thanks

I like the twist of the body and the angry suprised reaction. The raised tongue & eyes (especially the one on his forehead) are awesome as well!

That is total epicness right there. I love the vestigial wings and back legs. Reminds me of a mosasaur but less teeth. :D

It was a compliment :3

Nightmares are the reason why I cannot sleep in the dark. But they give me ideas, so they are good and bad at the same time.

For the eyes, I used plain ol' clear marbles. For the teeth, I made them with super sculpey and baked them for easier sculpting.

I am sometimes open to commissions, but right now I am SO busy, I could not take on a commission. If I do have some time in the near future, I would definitely accept some commission work!
